Box Score 2 TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (April 8, 2022) – The Salt Lake Community College Softball team split a Scenic West Athletic Conference doubleheader on Friday.

SLCC finished with a split against USU Eastern Friday, falling 5-4 in game one and earning a 12-3Â win in game two. The split sits the Bruins at 20-13Â overall and 18-9Â in Scenic West games.

Salt Lake and USU Eastern will play another doubleheader on Saturday.

USU Eastern 5, Salt Lake 4: SLCC fell behind early, never recovering in a walk-off win for the Eagles.

Brooklyn Pintar hit a two-run double in the fourth inning to get the Bruins on the board, with SLCC adding runs in the sixth and seventh innings to tie the game. USU Eastern then scored the game-winning run in bottom of the seventh inning, hitting a walk-off home run.

Allie Laub went 3-of-4 at the plate to lead Salt Lake.
Bailey Frischknecht earned the pitching loss.Â

SLCC had four players finish with multi-hit games, with
Lyndsey Madrigal going a perfect 3-of-3 in the game.
Avery Takahashi went 2-of-3.
Jayci Finch threw the win in the pitching circle, posting five strikeouts.Â
