The Bruins opened a four-game series at Colorado Northwestern Community College with a pair of dominating victories, earning wins of () and (). The victories boost SLCC to 24-12Â overall and 22-9 in Scenic West games.

Salt Lake and Colorado Northwestern will play another doubleheader on Saturday.

Bailey Frischknecht no-hitter lifted the Bruins to the run-rule win.

Frischknecht allowed no hits in five innings, finishing with five strikeouts and a walk. SLCC was dominant in the win, scoring eight runs in the fifth inning as
Lyndsey Madrigal,
Hola Nakayama and
Sadie Atkinson all had extra-base hits.

Kaylee Pierce went 2-of-3 at the plate to lead Salt Lake, scoring a trio of runs. Madrigal went 2-of-3 with a pair of RBI's.Â
