Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (September 25, 2021) - The No. 3 Salt Lake Community College Women's Soccer program continued to build on recent momentum Saturday, earning a strong victory in a Scenic West Athletic Conference road game.
SLCC earned a dominating 6-0 win over Community Christian College, posting the shutout victory on the road in California. The victory boosts the Bruins to 6-1-1 overall, with a mark of 4-1 in Scenic West play.
SLCC held just a 2-0 halftime lead, scoring 4 goals in the second half. Ashlynn Hall played a strong role in the Salt Lake win, posting a pair of goals.
Alec Kennington earned the first assist of her collegiate career during the match, while
Emma Fry earned a pair of assists on headers by
Anna Pinegar and
Ella Pierce.
Cecilia Norman also finished the match with an assist and a goal, which came thanks to a
Mary Santiago assist.
Salt Lake will host in-state rival Snow College next week in a critical Scenic West Athletic Conference match.
