Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (August 27, 2021) - The No. 2 Salt Lake Community College Women's Soccer program earned another strong victory, closing an East Coast road trip with another win over a nationally-ranked foe.
SLCC earned a 4-0 over No. 8 Monroe College, scoring early and never looking back in the runaway victory. The Bruins are now 2-0-1 overall, with a pair of wins over nationally-ranked foes in the road trip.
Anna Pinegar scored the opening goal of the match, thanks to an Abby Fry assist. SLCC scored three goals in the first half, with Pinegar's goal being followed by an
Ashlyn Hall score.
Maddie Snyder also scored a goal on a
Cecilia Norman assist later in the half.
Kallyn Chynoweth scored a goal on a Hall assist in the second half.Â
Salt Lake will open Scenic West Athletic Conference play on Thursday at nationally-ranked in-state rival Snow College.Â
