Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (August 21, 2021) - A highly-touted preseason matchup ended in a tie for the No. 2 Salt Lake Community College women's soccer program.

The Bruins posted a 0-0 overtime tie with No. 3 Eastern Florida State College at Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman, with a defensive battle ended in stalemate. SLCC's Taegan Frandsen posted a trio of saves in the tie, making a critical save in extra time to preserve the shutout.

Salt Lake held a 9-8 advantage in shots in the match, also holding a 5-4 edge in corner kicks. Anna Pinegar had a team-high two shots-on-goal for the Bruins.

SLCC will play a pair of matches next weekend in New York, starting first with Monroe Community College on Wednesday.
