Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (January 25, 2020) – Winning streaks are hard to maintain but the No. 20 Salt Lake Community College men's basketball team maintained their streak with a road win Saturday.

Playing at Colorado Northwestern Community College, the Bruins took a 99-74 win over the Spartans in Rangely, moving to 6-0 in the Scenic West Athletic Conference standings. Salt Lake also moved to 20-4 overall with the win.
The Bruins dominated the game from the get-go, taking a 48-29 halftime lead and shooting 53.8 percent from the field (14-of-26). Salt Lake's depth played a large role in the game as the team outscored Colorado Northwestern in bench points, 53-24. SLCC's defense was also crisp in the league win, holding the Spartans to just 35.5 percent shooting for the game.

Kyle Taylor said the road win was another important step for his program.
"Every win on the road is a good win," he said. "We came out and played well in the first half. We guarded on the ball and were in the gaps, defensively. Overall, it was a good team win in which everyone contributed."
The Bruins were led in scoring by
Justice Hill, who finished with 22 points on 7-of-11 shooting. Additionally,
James Lee posted 15 points off-the-bench and
Adam Hess also scored 10 points.Â
Salt Lake will take to the road next week for a game at Southern Idaho. The Bruins will play at home next on February 6 against USU Eastern.Â
