Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (April 6, 2019) - Another dominant performance lifted the No. 12 Salt Lake Community College softball team to a series sweep of Colorado Northwestern Community College.

Salt Lake will host the College of Southern Idaho in a league showdown next week at Norma Carr Field in Taylorsville. Friday's doubleheader will start at 1:00 p.m. and Saturday's games will begin at 12:00 p.m.

Salt Lake 8, Colorado Northwestern 0: A solid start lifted Salt Lake to the opening game victory.

Great hitting played a role in the victory but solid pitching was the real key for Salt Lake. Kierstyn Ketchell continued her strong season by throwing another shutout victory in the circle. Salt Lake's defense also played a role in the strong win, turning multiple plays on the bases.
