Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (December 6, 2019) - The No. 24 Salt Lake Community College men's basketball team suffered a tough loss in a preseason tournament action in Florida Friday.

The Bruins fell in a contest with Eastern Florida, 72-61, to fall to 1-1 in a Florida tourney. Salt Lake's overall record falls to 9-3 with the loss.

Salt Lake struggled to find an offensive groove throughout the game, hanging close with Eastern Florida throughout but never quite getting in control. Ed Chang led the team with 16 points, while James Lee scored 15 points. Spencer Johnson was the other double-digit scorer, finishing with 11 points. 

SLCC will play Pensacola State College at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
