Bruins coach
Kyle Taylor said the offensive energy the team displayed throughout the weekend sets a good tone heading into the break.
"I'm proud of our effort today," he said. "It's not easy to play twice in 14 hours but our players did a great job."
Tutu Majok finished with a double-double of 16 points and 15 rebounds, while
Asa McCord and
Spencer Johnson led the team with 17 points.
Justice Hill and
James Lee both scored 14 points, and
Dylan Belquist finished with 12 points.
Matt Gray had 11 points and
Jay Allen-Tovar had 10 points.Â
Taylor noted how impressive it was to see so many players succeed individually.
"
Tutu Majok had another double-double and really rebounded the ball well," he said. "
Justice Hill was playmaking all night and got a double-double as well with 14 points and 10 assists. Another good team win with all 8 players scoring in double figures."
Salt Lake's next games are scheduled in the Fiesta Bowl Junior College tourney, which will begin on Dec. 27 against Midland College.Â
