No. 15 Bruins downs Colorado Northwestern on "Sophomore Day"

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (May 4, 2018) - The memories of playing softball at Salt Lake Community College will hang heavy in the minds of this sophomore class of Bruins.

They've made history at the Redwood Campus, lifting the Bruins to heights that are impressive to say the least. They've set multiple records, both personal and team, with the chance to make another deep run in the postseason. However, thoughts of the future were put on pause Friday, with the program celebrating its annual "Sophomore Day" to recognize all of the graduating players.

Besides the pregame festivities, Salt Lake had much to celebrate during its final regular-season doubleheader against Colorado Northwestern, as the Bruins rolled to run-rule victories by scores of 16-0 and 13-0. The victories move Salt Lake's overall record to 39-12, with a record of 33-7 in the Scenic West Athletic Conference.

Salt Lake will wait for its Region 18 tournament seed to be revealed this weekend.
