Salt Lake sweeps Southern Nevada, improves in Scenic West

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (April 28, 2018) - The way the Salt Lake Community College softball program has played this season, it seems the Bruins are many times battling themselves to achieve their optimal performance.

They've controlled almost all of their opponents, dominating most of the Scenic West Athletic Conference in the process. The Bruins came into a Saturday doubleheader with the College of Southern Nevada looking to continue their upward trend in league play. Salt Lake was successful in that endeavor, earning 16-2 and 10-7 victories over the Coyotes to improve to 29-7 in league play.

Salt Lake will host its final home series next weekend, facing off against Colorado Northwestern in a four-game bill. Friday and Saturday will both feature doubleheaders, with Friday's games starting at 1:00 p.m. at Norma Carr Field.
