No. 10 Bruins to travel to Vegas for softball series

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (March 21, 2018) - The No. 10 Salt Lake Community College softball program was hoping for a warm, sunny spring after a dry, pleasant winter on the Wasatch Front.

Instead, adverse conditions have affected the Bruins repeatedly in the spring, forcing SLCC to move several home series to different locations. The same scenario will take place this weekend as Salt Lake will move a scheduled Scenic West Athletic Conference home series against the College of Southern Nevada to Las Vegas, forcing the Bruins on the road yet again.

Salt Lake will play a four-game series against the Coyotes, with doubleheaders scheduled for Friday and Saturday. Friday's first game will start at 1:00 p.m., while Saturday's games will start at 12:00 p.m. The Bruins are not scheduled to play in Salt Lake again until April 13 when they host USU Eastern at Norma Carr Field.

Southern Nevada is 11-11 on the season, with a record of 8-4 in league play. The Coyotes are coming off a series split with USU Eastern.
