Box Score 2 TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (March 16, 2018) - The Salt Lake Community College Bruins enjoyed a homecoming Friday, playing their first home games of the season at Norma Carr Field at the Redwood Campus.
The Bruins utilized the home-field advantage to the tune of a sweep of in-state rival Snow College, winning games by scores of 12-4 and 15-2 in run-rule victories. With the wins, Salt Lake moved to 8-2 in the Scenic West Athletic Conference. The Bruins have now won six consecutive games.Â
Salt Lake will host the Badgers for two more games Saturday, with first pitch scheduled for 12:00 p.m. at Norma Carr Field. The Bruins will host the College of Southern Nevada next weekend.
Salt Lake 12, Snow 4: SLCC took an early 4-0 lead, powering to a strong offensive win over Snow College.

Summer Stensgard single gave Salt Lake a 1-0 in the bottom of the first inning, with the Bruins stretching the lead to 4-0 in the third inning after an
Ashlee Snyder lead-off home run. While Snow would score four runs in the top of the fourth inning, Salt Lake responded by scoring four in the home half of the inning as Stensgard had a two-RBI single.
Salt Lake 15, Snow 2: Salt Lake's offense powered to an early 6-0 lead as the Bruins earned the game two victory on a run-rule.

Laina SueSue hit a two-run home run in the second inning to give Salt Lake a lead. Snow responded in the fourth inning to cut the Salt Lake lead to 7-2, before the Bruins responded with eight runs to effectively end the game.Â
Harley Wells pitched Salt Lake to a victory, surrendering two runs in 4.1 innings. Offensively, Suesue went 2-for-2,
Ashlee Snyder went 2-for-3 and
Summer Stensgard went 2-for-3.
Ashlee Anderson led the Bruins with three RBI's.Â
