Salt Lake prepped for weekend series with Snow College

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (March 13, 2018) - The Salt Lake Community College Bruins successfully completed a weekend of Scenic West Athletic Conference softball action, downing USU Eastern in four games to move to 6-2 in league play.

Salt Lake will face a new challenge in a four-game series with Snow College this weekend - winning at home. The Bruins will be playing their first series of the season at Norma Carr Field on the Redwood Campus, with each game of their 12-7 season having been played on the road or in neutral venues to this point.

Sitting at 3-5 in league play, Snow College enters the series after losing 3-of-4 games to the College of Southern Idaho in last weekend's play. Snow has the league's best batting average (.378), with the Badgers and Bruins both surrendering 3.34 runs-per-game. The Badgers went 8-2 in non-conference play.

The games will take place Friday at 1:00 p.m., with a game following the opener. Saturday's games will start at 12:00 p.m. Salt Lake will also host the College of Southern Nevada in games the following weekend.
