Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (September 30, 2017) – The Salt Lake Community College women's soccer program pushed its SWAC mark to 6-1-1, earning a decisive road victory over College of Southern Nevada Saturday.
Playing on a warm September afternoon in the desert, the Bruins picked up a 3-0 win over the Coyotes, controlling the match's tempo for the second consecutive day. Salt Lake held a 22-3 advantage in shots in the match, finishing with 17 shots-on-goal.
The Bruins netted their first goal in the match's 55
th minute, getting a goal by
Kamryn Worthington.
Sierra Heaton added a goal in the 77
th minute, with
Alli Pickering getting the final SLCC goal in the 90
th minute.
Salt Lake will continue its hot streak in SWAC play in two weeks with three critical tests, including road matches against Colorado Northwestern (Wednesday) and Snow College (Saturday). The Bruins will host USU-Eastern on a Friday in Taylorsville.
