Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (November 24, 2017) - Nine games in, the Salt Lake Community College Bruins are right on schedule after earning a dominant win over Northeastern Junior College to open the SLCC Thanksgiving Tourney.

The Bruins picked up a 78-58 win over the Plainsmen, holding Northeastern to 35.6 percent shooting (21-of-59). Salt Lake also limited Northeastern's three-point shooting to 2-of-11, as the Bruins never trailed in the game.

Salt Lake Community College led 35-27 at halftime, as the Bruins were efficient on offense with 18 assists on the night. The Bruins outscored the Plainsmen in the second half, 43-31.

Salt Lake's Bushmen Ebet led the Bruins with 21 points, as the highly-recruited prospect posted another highlight performance. Kur Kuath also posted another double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds, adding more ammunition to a recruiting profile that is already earning intrigue from around the country.

Marcus Burwell led the Plainsmen with 19 points.
