Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah- No. 1 Salt Lake continued their quest towards perfection by defeating USU-Eastern 74-46. SLCC improves to 15-0 on the season and 2-0 in conference play. The Bruins ended with three players in double-figures.
Monique Mills led SLCC racking up a double-double with a game-high 24 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and four steals all of which were team highs. Dominque Mills came off the bench with 15 points, five rebounds and three steals. Â Sophomore
Sydnee Taylor racked up 10 points.
The Bruins success did not just come from the offensive side of the ball. On defense Salt Lake forced 23 turnovers (17 of which led to scores) and held the Golden Eagles to shooting 25 percent from the field. Salt Lake racked up 12 steals, while never letting go of the lead.
Salt Lake goes on the road to face Snow College Dec. 17 at 5:30 p.m.
