Ephraim, UT—The SLCC softball team (16-10, 14-7 SWAC) won a pair of road games against Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC) opponent Snow College (12-14, 9-13 SWAC) on Friday.

The Bruins topped the Badgers 8-1 in the day's first game and won an 11-3 decision by run rule in the day's second contest. SLCC has won three straight games.

Game 1 Stats vs. Snow: Freshman pitcher Baylee Reeves (Brigham City, UT) picked up the win in game one with three strikeouts, six hits and one run (earned) allowed in a complete game effort.

Freshman catcher KyRae Kogianes (Riverton, UT) was 2-for-4 at the plate with a triple and a run scored. Freshman infielder Payton Hart (Bountiful, UT) was 2-for-4 with a walk and three runs batted in (RBI) and sophomore infielder Taylor Tann (Syracuse, UT) was 1-for-3 with a double and two RBI.

Freshman catcher Riana Splinter (Las Vegas, NV) was 1-for-4 with one RBI and a run scored in the winning effort as SLCC had eight different players score a run in the contest.

Game 2 Stats vs. Snow: Kogianes was 2-for-4 at the plate with a double, a home run, two runs scored and four RBI. Freshman infielder Megan Reed (Pocatello, ID) was 2-for-3 with a walk, two runs scored and one RBI and sophomore infielder Megan Bradshaw (Orem, UT) was 1-for-3 with a run scored and two RBI.

Splinter went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and one RBI and Tann was 1-for-4 with one RBI. Hart was 2-for-4 with a pair of runs scored.

Freshman pitcher Paige Reimann (South Jordan, UT) earned the game two victory with five strikeouts, five hits and three runs, all earned, allowed in a six-inning complete game effort.

Next up for Head Coach Cyndee Bennett and the Bruins is a doubleheader against Snow College on Saturday, Mar. 15 in Ephraim, UT. First pitch for game one is slated for Noon with the day's second contest getting underway 30 minutes following the conclusion of the first matchup.
