CHANDLER, AZ – Fresh off of two road wins on Friday and Saturday, No. 8 SLCC kept the ball rolling with a dominating 87-69 win over host Chandler-Gilbert Community College Coyotes.
It was all business for the Bruins as they opened up and jumped on the Coyotes and handled everything CGCC threw at them. Somewhat crawling their way back into the game, SLCC went into the up 46-36.
Regaining the momentum, SLCC came out in the second half and shot the ball extremely well to cruise to another 40-plus point half to wrap up the 87-69 win to improve to a perfect 3-0 on the young 2014-15 season.
Attempting to figure out which players fit which roles, every active player on the Bruin roster saw substantial minutes.
Blake Wilkinson (Centerville, UT) led the Bruins while posting a double-double with 26 points and 10 rebounds.
Brandon Morley (South Jordan, UT) also posted a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds as SLCC amassed 22 offensive rebounds as a team.
Marcus White (Milwaukee, WI) added 14 points in the win, respectively.
