Ephraim, UT—The No. 6-ranked SLCC Softball team (42-9, 36-6 SWAC) picked up a pair of Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC) road victories over in-state opponent Snow College (23-23, 21-22 SWAC) on Friday. The Bruins earned a 6-3 win in the day's first game and won game two by a 9-4 final score. The Bruins now lead the season series with the Badgers 6-0.

Game 1 SLCC Stats: Bruin sophomore pitcher MaCauley Flint (Roy, UT) picked up the win in game one with eight strikeouts and three hits allowed.

Sophomore infielder Lynsdey Healey (Spanish Fork, UT) was 1-for-3 at the plate with a two-run home run and sophomore infielder Maddy Woodard (Murray, UT) was 2-for-3 with one run batted in (RBI). Sophomore catcher Susan Duke (Salem, UT) was 2-for-3 with one RBI and sophomore outfielder Malia Campos (Murray, UT) lead the contest off with a triple.

Game 2 SLCC Stats: SLCC freshman pitcher Kailey Christensen (Spanish Fork, UT) picked up the game two victory with one hit and no runs allowed in 4.2 innings pitched.

Sophomore outfielder Lauren Hager (Sandy, UT) was 3-for-4 with one RBI and freshman infielder Taylor Tann (Syracuse, UT) was 2-for-4 with one RBI. The Bruins tallied seven runs in the final three innings to seal the game two win.

Head Coach Mary Kay Amicone and the Bruins will close out the regular season with a doubleheader against Snow College on Saturday, May 4 in Ephraim, UT. First pitch for game one is slated for Noon.
