Carson City, NV—The SLCC Baseball team (12-6, 6-2 SWAC) has won three straight games following a doubleheader sweep of Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC) opponent Western Nevada College (14-10, 2-6 SWAC) on Saturday. The Bruins won the day's first game 4-0 and closed the weekend out with a 6-3 victory over the Wildcats in the afternoon contest.
In game one, Bruin freshman pitcher
Brady Corless (Spanish Fork, UT) picked up the win, pitching a complete game with three strikeouts, giving up two hits on the day and allowing no runs. Sophomore catcher
Bo Fisher (American Fork, UT) was 3-for-4 at the plate with a double, a home run and three RBIs. Sophomore catcher
Nathan Fishel (Littleton, CO) was 2-for-3 with an RBI and sophomore outfielder
Steven Adam (Tecumseh, Ontario) was 2-for-4 with a pair of runs scored.

Rhett Nelson (Lindon, UT) earned the game two win in six innings of work. Sophomore pitcher
Bronson Anderson (Lehi, UT) earned the save. Sophomore outfielder
Bryan Heward (Ogden, UT) was 1-for-3 with a triple, a pair of RBIs, two walks and two runs scored. SLCC never trailed in either contest and has won three consecutive games.
