Salt Lake City, UT—The
No. 5-ranked SLCC Softball team (25-4, 19-1 SWAC) won both games of Saturday's doubleheader against Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC) opponent Snow College (11-13, 9-12 SWAC) to pick up the four game series sweep. The Bruins out-hit the Badgers 16-6 on the day and committed no errors. SLCC has won five straight games and 23 of its last 24 contests overall.
Sophomore pitcher
MaCauley Flint (Roy, UT) picked up the complete game victory in game one with 10 strikeouts and one earned run allowed. Sophomore catcher/first baseman
Lyndsey Healey (Spanish Fork, UT) was 1-for-3 at the plate with two RBIs and sophomore outfielder
Malia Campos (Murray, UT) was 1-for-1 with a pair of runs scored.
Bruin freshman
Ashley Kay (South Jordan, UT) earned the win in game two with two strikeouts and no runs allowed in a complete game effort. Sophomore infielder
Whitney Holt (Tooele, UT) was 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, two runs scored and three RBIs.
Campos was 3-for-4 with a stolen base and two runs scored.

Mary Kay Amicone and the Bruins is a doubleheader against Colorado Northwestern CC (0-16, 0-16 SWAC) on Friday, Mar. 22 at Bruin Field. First pitch for game one is slated for 1:00 p.m.
