Salt Lake City, UT—The
No. 5-ranked SLCC Softball team (23-4, 17-1 SWAC) picked up a pair of home victories over Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC) opponent Snow College (11-10, 9-9 SWAC) on Friday at Bruin Field. The Bruins won the day's first game 8-0 and picked up an 8-4 victory in the afternoon contest.
Bruin sophomore pitcher
MaCauley Flint (Roy, UT) allowed just two hits and struck out nine batters in game one to pick up the win. Sophomore outfielder
Tanisha Anderson (Murray, UT) was 1-for-3 with a two run home run and sophomore infielder
Whitney Holt (Tooele, UT) was 2-for-3 at the plate in the winning effort.
Freshman pitcher
Alex Petrolia (Henderson, NV) picked up the win in game two and sophomore catcher/first baseman
Lyndsey Healey (Spanish Fork, UT) was 3-for-3 at the plate with a home run and two RBIs. Sophomore catcher
Susan Duke (Salt Lake City, UT) was 2-for-3 in the contest and
Anderson was 2-for-3 with two RBIs.

Mary Kay Amicone and the Bruins is a second doubleheader with Snow College on Saturday, Mar. 16 at Bruin Field. First pitch for game one is slated for Noon.
