Salt Lake City, UT—The SLCC Men's Basketball team (14-2, 2-0 SWAC) rallied from a 15-point deficit in the second half to edge past No. 13 North Idaho College (NIC) (15-3, 2-1 SWAC) 75-74 on Thursday at Bruin Arena. The Bruins made 12 of 13 free throws in the matchup and shot 48.2% from the field to clinch their 10th consecutive victory.

SLCC sophomore guard Skyler Halford (Orem, UT) led all scorers with 25 points, including two free throws with 1.1 seconds left to give SLCC the lead. Redshirt freshman forward Sai Tummala (Phoenix, AZ) scored 15 points and grabbed four rebounds and freshman forward Casey Oliverson (Hyde Park, UT) added 11 points and three rebounds in the winning effort.

Next up for Head Coach Todd Phillips and the Bruins is a matchup with rival College of Southern Idaho (13-1, 1-1 SWAC) on Saturday, Jan. 5 at Bruin Arena. Tipoff is set for 5:05 p.m.
