No. 11-ranked SLCC Men's Basketball team (19-3, 7-1 SWAC) had its 15-game win streak snapped by
No. 13-ranked North Idaho College (NIC) (21-3, 8-1 SWAC) by a final score of 87-78 on Saturday. Foul trouble was costly for the Bruins in the ballgame, with NIC making 25 of 32 free throw attempts compared to just 15 of 17 for SLCC.
The Cardinals out-rebounded the Bruins 38-28 and won their sixth consecutive contest. The loss moves SLCC into second place in the SWAC, a half game behind NIC.
