Salt Lake City- The #1 ranked SLCC Bruin Softball team took three games from Colorado Northwestern today winning 16-1, 7-0 and 13-0. The Bruin bats out hit CNCC 46-4 in the three games while allowing no earned runs. The three wins moves Salt Lake over the fifty win mark with a record of 51-7 overall and 42-5 in conference play.
In game one
MaCauley Flint allowed just one hit with five strikeouts.
Lyndsey Healey was 3 for 4 with two doubles and four runs driven in.
Mylee Davis and
Meagan Neilson each went 2 for 4 with two RBI and two doubles.
Starlee Hutchings was 2 for 2 with a two run home run.
Ariel Zimmerman got the game two win striking out nine batters allowing one hit.
Malia Campos was 3 for 3,
Maddy Woodard was 2 for 3 with two RBI and Healey was 3 for 4 with three RBI and two doubles. Lauren Miller went 3 for 4 with two RBI.
In the final game
Kylee Colvin allowed two hits with five strikeouts.
Mylee Davis was 3 for 3 with two RBI,
Maddy Woodard went 2 for 2 with two double and
Meagan Neilson was 3 for 4 with three RBI.
The Bruins will close out the regular season with a single game tomorrow in Rangley Colorado and then will host the Region 18 tournament starting on May 19
th at Bruin Field.
