Softball: No. 1 SLCC Splits final day with Snow
Salt Lake City- The #1 ranked SLCC Bruin Softball team split the final day with Snow College winning 4-2 and falling in the final game 8-7. The split takes Salt Lake's record to 48-7 overall and 39-5 in conference play.
Lauren Miller was 2 for 3 with an RBI in the game one win and Meagan Nielson was 2 for 3.
MaCauley Flint got the win allowing one earned run.
Costly errors led the 8-7 defeat of Salt Lake in the final game of the series. In the bottom of the seventh Meagan Nielson blasted a two run home run to put Salt Lake down one however the Badgers would force a pop up to end the game.
Trina Gomez was 2 for 4 and
Tanisha Anderson went 2 for 3.
The Bruins complete the regular season with a trip to Colorado Northwestern next weekend then return home for the Region 18 Tournament on May 10-12
th.
