Softball: SLCC Softball battles for two Wins

Salt Lake City- The 4
th ranked SLCC Softball team fought for two wins over North Idaho winning 4-2 and 7-5. The two wins improves Salt Lake's record to 31-6 overall and 22-4 in conference play.
The Bruins pushed four runs across the plate in the 4
th inning to take the lead; it was all
MaCauley Flint would need. Flint struck out nine batters over seven innings of work.
Mylee Davis was 1 for 2 with an RBI and
Meagan Neilson knocked an RBI single.
In game two the Bruins fell behind 4-2 but a five run fourth inning took the lead. Neilson connected on a pinch hit two RBI single,
Malia Campos was 2 for 3 and
Tanisha Anderson was 2 for 3 with a double.
Ariel Zimmerman got the win going seven innings with eight strikeouts.
