Softball: Bruins Complete the four game Sweep
Salt Lake City- The fourth ranked Salt Lake Community College Softball team took the four game swept over Colorado Northwestern 12-2 and 7-0. The Bruin combined for 16 hits and 20 runs in the double header. The two wins moves Salt Lakes record to 29-6 overall and 20-4 in conference play.
MaCauley Flint allowed no hits for the second day in a row striking out three over three innings of work.
Kylee Colvin completed the game with three k's and three hits. Savannah Webster was 2 for 2 with two RBI,
Trina Gomez went 2 for 2 and
Lyndsey Healey picked up an RBI double.
Ariel Zimmerman went five innings in game two with five strikeouts and Colvin closed the game with two strikeouts and two hits. The Bruins had a series high 14 hits.
Brooke Budge hit a two run home run;
Maddy Woodard was 3 for 3 with a double and two RBI.
Tanisha Anderson finished the game 3 for 3 with two stolen bases.
