St. George, UT- The Salt Lake Community College Softball team completed the four game sweep of North Idaho College. Salt Lake defeated North Idaho 10-0 and 14-3. The two wins takes the Bruins overall record to 13-2 and 4-0 in conference play.
Salt Lake used an eight run second inning to take the 10-0 win.
Ariel Zimmerman and
Kylee Colvin combined in the shutout. Zimmerman allowed one hit over three innings with five strikeouts while Colvin closed out the game allowing two hits.
Tanisha Anderson stayed red hot blasting a three run home run going 2 for 2 in the game.
Maddy Woodard connected on a solo home run and Lauren Miller was 2 for 2 with a double.
In the final game of the series McCaulley Flint got the win with six strikeouts in four innings of work. Meagan Nielson launched a pinch hit three run home run and Star Hutchings was 1 for 3 with three RBI. In the four game series Salt Lake collected 54 hits and scored 45 runs.
