Carson City, NV - The Salt Lake Community College Baseball team faced a tough Western Nevada pitching staff and fell in all four game in Carson City, Nevada. The Bruins were unable to string together hits and drive home runs in the four game sweep. With the losses their record drops to 43-13 overall and 28-12 in conference play.
Tyson Memmott took the game one loss allowing one earned run while Adam Gunn threw four scoreless innings. The SLCC bats could only manage four hits with no extra base hits in the 1-0 shutout.
Branden Anderson went 2 for 3 with a homer in game two and Dominique Taylor was 3 for 4 with a double in game two but Salt Lake could not get over the hump losing 3-2.
On the second day of the series Kyle Bibrey was 4 for 8 in the two games with a double. Branden Anderson was 1 for 2 with a double and Sean Moysh went 2 for 2. In the final game the Bruins scored all three runs in the 7th inning.
