EPHRIAM, UT – On a cold and snowy day the #2 SLCC Softball team split with Snow College winning 12-5 in game one but falling in game two 3-4. Salt Lake out hit the Badgers in both games but timely hitting by Snow lead to the Salt Lake defeat. The Bruins are now 43-7 overall and 35-3 in conference play.
Krystin Jachim had a career day going 5 for 7 at the plate with eight RBI's, a home run and a triple. Jachim blasted a two run homer in game one finishing with seven RBI's in the game. Becky Simonson was 3 for 5 with a double and Madi White hit her 12th double of the season. Ariel Zimmerman stuck out 12 while allowing six hits.
Salt Lake scored three runs within the first two innings of game two but failed to push more across the plate losing 3-4. Simonson was 2 for 3, Jachim went 2 for 3 with a triple and Savanah Webster was 2 for 4 with a RBI. Dezlee Roberts threw three innings allowing two hits and no runs.
