SALT LAKE CITY – The Salt Lake Community College softball team finished the sweep of  Snow College 7-1 and 9-3.  The Bruins are 26-6 overall and 18-2 in conference play. 

 

A sixth run fith inning propelled Salt Lake to the 7-1 win in the first game of the day.  Ariel Zimmerman got the win allowing no earned runs with seven strikeouts.  Zimmerman was 1 for 1 at the plate knocking a two run double to start the 5th inning rally.  Savannah Webster was 1 for 2 with a double, Kylee Bufton was 1 for 2 with 2 RBI's and Kylee Brinkerhoff was 2 for 3. 

 

Kylee Colvin picked up the win in the final game of the series.  The Bruins collected 13 team hits led by Krystin Jachim with three RBI's, a homerun and a double.  Webster was 1 for 2 with a double and 2 RBI's and Madi White was 1 for 3 with two RBI's.
