LAS VEGAS, NV- The SLCC Softball team completed the series sweep over Southern Nevada winning 13-3 and 16-4. The Bruins record stands at 22-6 overall and 14-2 in SWAC play.
Kylee Brinkerhoff led the hitting surge going 4 for 5 with three RBI, Krystin Jachim was 3 for 4 with 2 RBI while DJ Richardson and Madi White each hit a solo homerun. Ariel Zimmerman picked up the win allowing four hits while striking out 11 batters.
Salt Lake mashed 21 hits over five innings in a 16-4 game two win. Kylee Bufton went 3 for 3 with her third home run of the weekend while Jachim was 3 for 5 with a double and three RBI.
The third ranked Bruins head into the bye weekend and will host Snow College March 18-19th.
