LAS VEGAS, NV – The SLCC Softball team earned two wins by defeated Gateway College 9-0, Central Arizona 6-5 but fell to Yavapai 2-1.  In game one Kylee Colvin threw five hitless innings earning the win.  DJ Richardson was 2-2 with three RBI; Madi White was 2-3 with a double and two RBI.

 In the second game the SLCC bats woke up smacking 12 hits in the game.  Trina Gomez was 3-4, Kylee Brinkerhoff was 2-2 and Savanah Webster was 2-4 with a double and two RBI.  Ariel Zimmerman got the win going 6.2 innings with nine strikeouts. 

In the night cap SLCC jumped to an early 1-0 lead over Yavapai off a Krystin Jachim solo home run however a late rally by Yavapai stole the win from Salt Lake.  Dezlee Roberts took the loss going seven strong innings allowing one earned run.
