SALT LAKE CITY (May 7, 2010) – The No 1 ranked SLCC Bruins took two wins today from North Idaho College 5-0 & 3-1. The SLCC pitching staff held North Idaho to one run on eight hits in fourteen innings. The Bruins are now 54-3 overall and 42-3 in conference play. 

Sarah Clark struck out eight batters in six innings of work. Cyd Allen was 3-3 with two RBIs a double and triple. Kylee Brinkerhoff finished 2-3 with a double and Shaynie Phillips had an RBI double. 

Jordyn McDonald and Reilee O'Brien combined to get the win in game two. O'Brien threw 1.2 innings striking out four batters. Krystin Jachim was 2-2 and Meranda Wood was 2-3 with a double and two runs driven in. 

No. 1 SLCC hosts North Idaho again in a double header starting at noon at Bruin Field. The games will be the final regular season home games and Sophomore Day.
