HENDERSON, Nevada (April 9, 2010) – The second ranked SLCC Bruin Softball team ran away with two wins over Southern Nevada 10-0 & 13-3. Salt Lake collected 26 hits over the two games while allowing only three runs. The Bruins are 43-2 overall and 31-2 in Scenic West action. Jordyn McDonald picks up her 20th win of the season throwing six innings allowing four hits with nine batters struck out. Cyd Allen finished 3-4 with a double and two RBIs, Katelyn Elliott hit a two run home run and Kylee Bufton was 1-3 with a two RBI double. Salt Lake scored six runs in the sixth inning to propel them to the 13-3 win. Sarah Clark allowed two runs over six innings of work. McDonald finished 2-4 with two doubles and four RBIs. Kylee Brinkerhoff hit a bases loaded triple to finish 2-4 and Allen was 2-3 with two runs driven in.
