EPHRAIM, Utah (April 24, 2010) - The No. 1 SLCC Bruin Softball team completed the four game sweep of Snow College today 2-0 and 6-2. Salt Lake (48-3, 36-3 SWAC) holds a seven game lead over Southern Idaho for first place in the SWAC. Salt Lake managed only five hits in the 2-0 win in game one. Kylee Brinkerhoff collected three hits and drove in Salt Lake’s only two runs. Sarah Clark and Reilee O’Brien combine for the shutout while striking out six. In the final game the Salt Lake scored four runs in the first two innings. Erika James finished 2-4 with a triple, Shaynie Phillips was 2-4 with a RBI and Krystin Jachim drove in two runs and finished 2-3 at the plate.
