EPHRAIM, UTAH (April 23, 2010) – The number one ranked SLCC Bruins survied the rain and cold to take two wins from Snow College 6-4 and 3-2. The wins move Salt Lake’s record to 46-3 overall and 34-3 in conference play. Game one went nine innings before Salt Lake took the two run lead in the ninth for good. Sarah Clark and Reilee O’Brien combined to strike out nine batters allowing only one earned run. O’Brien got the win going four innings striking out seven. Katelyn Elliott finished the game 2-4 with two RBIs, Cyd Allen was 2-3 and Shaynie Phillips went 3-5 with a double. Jordyn McDonald threw all seven innings getting her 22nd win of the season. Allen was 2-4 with a double and Kylee Brinkerhoff hit an RBI double finishing 3-3 in the game.
