SLCC Softball wins 28th game of the Season

SALT LAKE CITY (March 6, 2010) – The Salt Lake Community College Softball team completed the sweep by defeating Snow College 5-0, 13-3 and 11-1.   The Bruins are currently 28-0 overall and 16-0 in SWAC play.
 
Sarah Clark went seven strong innings allowing no runs on three hits and at the plate Clark was 2-2 scoring two runs.  Jordyn McDonald hit a solo home run and Meranda Wood was 1-3 with a RBI double. 
 
In game two Salt Lake combined for 12 hits with Stacie Graham going 2-2 with two RBI's and a double.  Katelyn Elliott was 3-4 with two RBI's and a double along with Kylee Brinkerhoff who was 2-3 with three RBI's.  Reilee O'Brien picked up the win going five innings with eight strikeouts.
 
Jordyn McDonald got the win the final game going five innings allowing one hit with six strikeouts.  At the plate McDonald was 3-3 with three RBI's and a double.  Meranda Wood finished 1-2 with double and Katelyn Elliott was 1-3 with two RBI's.
 
Salt Lake (28-0, 16-0 SWAC) takes on Colorado Northwestern (1-15, 1-15 SWAC) on March 12-13th at Bruin Field.
