CARSON CITY, Nevada (March 27, 2010) – The Salt Lake Community College baseball team dropped two close games to Western Nevada 3-1 and 9-8.  Salt Lake is in a two way tie for first place in the SWAC with an 11-2 record.

 

Tyson Littlewood was 2-3 with a double and Mitch Manning hit a solo home run to score the lone run for Salt Lake.  The bats were alive for Salt Lake in game two hitting three homeruns.  Kyle Bilbry was 2-3 with a homer, JR Roland was 2-3 with a double, Tyson Littlewood connected on a home run and Bo Fisher hit a triple and a home run. 

 

Salt Lake (20-6, 11-2 SWAC) looks for the series split as they face Western Nevada again for a doubleheader starting at noon in Carson City, Nevada.
