Bruins swing there way to 30 wins

SALT LAKE CITY (March 12, 2010) – The Salt Lake Community College softball team extended their winning streak to 30 games with two wins over Colorado Northwestern 11-3 and 13-0. The Bruins maintain their stronghold at top the SWAC with a perfect 18-0 record. 
 
Sarah Clark struck out eight batters and was 4-4 with three RBIs at the plate in game one. Stacie Graham was 1-2 with a double and two RBIs and Katelyn Elliott was 2-3 with a two RBI double. 
 
The Bruins scored in each inning talling 13 runs on 11 hits. Sophomore Cyd Allen hit a grand slam finishing the game 3-4 with six RBIs and two doubles. Jordyn McDonald and Krystin Jachim combined to throw the shutout allowing two hits. 
 
Salt Lake (30-0, 18-0 SWAC) looks to complete the sweep of Colorado Northwestern tomorrow with a doubleheader beginning at 10 am.
