ST GEORGE, Utah (February 13, 2010) – The SLCC Softball team completed the sweep by defeating College of Southern Idaho 5-0 and 6-1. The two wins takes Salt Lake's record to 20-0 overall and 8-0 in SWAC play.
Sarah Clark gets the shutout in the first game going six innings allowing three hits and Rilee O'brien closed out the seventh inning striking out two. Jordyn McDonald was 3-3 with two doubles and two RBI's while Kylee Bufton was 1-2 with two RBI's.
In the final game of the series Jordyn McDonald strikes out nine batters allowing one run. Cyd Allen finishes the game 1-2 with two RBI's and McDonald connects on a solo home run.
The Bruins (20-0, 8-0 SWAC) face College of Southern Idaho in their home opener at Bruin Field on February 19-20th.
