SALT LAKE CITY- Jason Gamblin came off the bench to lead Salt Lake to the 73-59 win over number one ranked North Idaho College. Gamblin scored 24 points on 7 of 10 shooting from the floor and 10-11 at the free throw line. Salt Lake held NIC to just 30% shooting from the three point line. Late in the second half, Salt Lake went on an 8-0 run to shut the door on any NIC comeback.
Alfonzo Hubbard and Given Kalipinde finished with double-doubles apiece. Hubbard scored 18 points with 11 boards and Kalipinde lead the team with 14 rebounds and 14 points.
The Bruins (11-2) take on top Salish Kooteni on December 15th in Bruin Arena at 7:30 pm.
