Rangely, Colorado- Salt Lake baseball (25-11) won game one 18-5 in five innings against CNCC (11-26).
CF Tyler West had four of the Bru Cru's 17 hits. West added three runs and two RBI. SS Drew Smith went 2-4 with four RBI. C AJ Thomas and 3B Riley Brown both homered for the Bruins.
It was 5-5 after three innings of play, but Salt Lake kept pouring in runs. The Bruins plated four runs in the fourth and nine runs in the fifth inning to put things out of reach. Every batter in the lineup recorded at least one hit for SLCC. Only one of the 18 runs were unearned.
