LAS VEGAS, Nevada- Salt Lake Men's Basketball (6-7) lost 81-74 to No. 11 South Plains College (11-2).
Nick Jefferson had a career-high 27 points for Salt Lake in the Loss. Jefferson went 7-9 from deep and recorded 6 assists and 5 steals.
The Bruins shot 20-70 from the field and a perfect 22-22 from the free-throw line. SLCC had only three turnovers in the game compared to the Texans 18 turnovers, but the Bruins didn't hit enough shots.
Nick Clark finished with 13 points off the bench for the Bruins. Makuei Riek and Lantz Stephenson both added 10 points.
