Salt Lake City, UTAH- Salt Lake Men's Basketball (1-0) started off the 2025-26 regular season with a 83-60 victory over Central Wyoming College (0-3)

Muhammed Jobe shot 10-13 from the field and recorded a game high 21 points. Danny Young Jr. added 19 points for Salt Lake and made three three-pointers. Daye Kaba posted 13 points and five steals for the Bruins. Point guard Nick Jefferson also netted double-figures with eleven points. Jefferson had game-highs with nine rebounds and four assists. 

Julian Ormond led the Rustlers in points, rebounds, and assists in the loss.

Salt Lake Men's Basketball heads to Midlands, Texas to play three games at the Bob Chapman Classic. The first game of the weekend tips off at 3 pm on Friday November 7th against No. 9 Odessa College.
