Midland, TEXAS- Salt Lake Men's Basketball (1-3) lost all three of their games this past week at the Bob Chapman Classic hosted by Midland College.
The Bruins lost to No. 9 ranked Odessa College 80-62. Muhammed Jobe had 19 points and eight boards in Friday's loss.
On Saturday Salt Lake lost 72-67 to No. 19 Howard College. After being tied 33-33 at the half, the Bruins were outscored 39-34 in the second half. Danny Young Jr. hit six threes and led Salt Lake with 28 points.
The Bruins faced the hosts of the weekend Classic as they lost to Midland College on Sunday 90-74. SLCC had five players in double-figures, but the 16 point halftime deficit stayed put as the teams both netted 43 points in the second half. Young Jr. was the Bruins leading scorer and rebounder, posting 16 points and 8 boards.
