TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (Saturday, January 4, 2025)- No. 19 Salt Lake Women's Basketball (13-3) beat USU-Eastern (9-7) in a low-scoring affair 51-40.
Freshmen guards Tahys Da Silva and Simran Williams led Salt Lake with 14 and 13 points respectively.
Forward Laura Di Stefano added 8 points and 8 rebounds for the Bruins. Ines Babaya recorded 6 points and 4 steals for Salt Lake.
Freshman Addasyn Scrivner led the Eagles with 14 points. USU-Eastern struggled from the field shooting just under 25% (14-57).
