TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (Thursday, January 2, 2025)- Salt Lake Women's Basketball (12-3) cruised past Snow College (11-5) winning 84-52 in their conference opener. The Bruins led 19-5 after the first quarter and never looked back.
Salt Lake's two returning players from last year Laura Di Stefano and Jeanne Rodriguez led the Bruins with 15 points and 14 points respectively. Di Stefano was on fire beyond the ark going 4 for 5 on three-pointers.
Freshman Nari Powers poured in 11 points and 7 rebounds and freshman Tahys Da Silva had 10 points for Salt Lake.
The Bruins strong defense led to 15 steals and the Badgers committing 27 turnovers.
Sophomore guard Maliyah Elliot led Snow with 15 points.
